Of course, you care about the quality of the precious ruby jewelry, sapphire jewelry, emerald jewelry or diamond wedding rings and bands you purchase. You will receive a document with your purchase describing the quality of your gems.

Warranties
Your purchase is warrantied for one year after purchase for basic maintenance. During the warranty period, Romancing the Stone will clean and refurbish any item that displays normal wear and tear, including checking and tightening all stones. There will be a charge to repair items that have been worn in inappropriate locations, such as the gym, or for items that have been dropped, hit, or otherwise damaged. Romancing the Stone is not liable for the loss or damage of a center stone. You are responsible for insuring your item in case or loss or damage to the center stone. Previews
If you are interested in previewing a piece of jewelry, simply purchase the item and follow the policy for returns below. Returns If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product you have purchased from Romancing the Stone, you may return it for a full refund or a store credit for the amount of the original purchase. We will examine the returned items to determine that the requirements below have been met. Under normal circumstances this process should take between 1-2 weeks.

• We must receive returns within 7 business days from the day you receive your package. The 7 day exchange policy applies to the Website purchases only instore purchases do not apply.

• Special order rings are hand made and take 6 to 10 weeks to make and there are no refunds or exchanges on special order rings made larger than size 6.5.

• There are no returns or refunds on special orders.

• The item must be in its original condition with the tag in its original affixed condition. The tag cannot be removed and then re-affixed to the item or tampered with, e.g., crumpled, covered. or the ink removed.

• Write the code on the Return Authorization Sticker (RAS) included in your original package.

• All GIA and EGL certificates and all original packaging must be included. You will be charged $500 for each GIA or EGL certificate you don’t return.

• We recommend that you double box items with the outside box being a shoebox size container.

• You must pay for return shipping and full insurance. • Do not mention or write jewelry on the outside of package; say only that it is non-hazardous, non-perishable, non-liquid, and not fragile.
