People who have homeowner’s and automobile insurance sometimes forget to insure the their valuable jewelry. Since jewelry is expensive, easy to lose, and often a prime target for thieves, we urge you to check with your insurance broker about coverage for specific types of loss under your homeowner’s policy or to obtain a jewelry rider.

Romancing the Stone maintains insurance coverage for fire, theft and loss while your jewelry is in our possession, but we do not insure center stones for breakage during the re-setting process. Sometimes stones contain natural fissures that may make them susceptible to cracking or breaking during re-setting.  We urge you to confirm that your insurance policy covers your valuable center stones. 

As stated in our shipping policies, we are fully covered for shipping until a package is signed for. At that time, you as the purchaser, assume all liability.  If you ship an item to us, you are responsible for insuring the package.
